Donations of Funds

The Izzi Trust is a section 18(a) non-profit organization, and over 95% of our beneficiaries are black.  Any donation to us will be counted towards a corporate client’s CSI contribution.

Donations of Time

In addition to enabling a corporate client’s financial contribution to make a meaningful difference to children in our country, we can also assist our clients with their volunteer schemes.  We organize over 20 events a year to benefit the communities we serve, and our corporate clients utilize these opportunities to share their social investment with their staff. 

Events include:

• Build-a-School Days, where volunteers paint, build and upgrade schools
• Reading Days, where volunteers read to the learners and share their personal experiences
• Career Days, where volunteers share their career paths and choices, to assist learners in their own career planning and encourage them to stay at school
• Environmental Days, where volunteers clean up the school, plant indigenous trees and teach the children the importance of conserving  and respecting our natural resources
• Party Days, where volunteers assist in the organization of Winter or Christmas parties, providing a day of fun to children who have too little of it in their lives

All Volunteer Days involve members of the community working hand in hand with outside volunteers.  We do not want to just ‘do’ stuff for our schools, we want to involve parents, educators and children in making a difference too.

Corporate Social Investment Services

The Izzi Trust provides CSI services to corporate clients, providing them with the opportunity to invest in the future of South Africa – our youth.  For more information on these services, please contact us.
